Product Description
622-333 and 622-137 are standard VDO 0–10 bar oil pressure sensors/switches, widely used in FG Wilson/Perkins generator sets, as well as excavators from manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Sany.
I. Core Parameters and Positioning
Item Details | Models: 622-333, 622-137 (Interchangeable)
Brand / OEM: VDO (a Siemens subsidiary); OEM-fitted for FG Wilson/Perkins
Measurement Range: 0–10 bar (0–1.0 MPa)
Thread Specification: NPT 1/8 (Standard Installation) | Power Supply: 12V / 24V
Output: Analog signal (compatible with gauges/ECUs) + Low-pressure alarm contact
Protection Rating: IP67+; Oil-resistant, High-temperature resistant (-40°C to 125°C) | Weight: Approx. 200g
II. Compatible Equipment (High-Frequency Applications)
1. Generator Sets (Primary Application): • FG Wilson and Olympian full-series diesel generator sets • Perkins engines (400/1100/1200/2000 series) • Caterpillar CB series generator sets (CB22B/CB24B/CB32B)
2. Excavators / Construction Machinery (General Replacement): • Caterpillar 320D/323D/336D, Komatsu PC200, Sany SY series, etc. • Diesel-powered equipment such as wheel loaders, motor graders, and road rollers.
Note: The parameters for models 622-333 and 622-137 are identical, making them directly interchangeable. Other general-purpose models in this series include 622-331 and 10000-17461.
IV. Troubleshooting and Installation
Common Faults: Oil pressure alarms, no display on the gauge/instrument panel, engine protective shutdown.
Diagnostics: Check power supply (12V/24V), verify that signal output varies with pressure changes, and test the continuity of the alarm contact.
Installation: Wrap threads with PTFE tape (thread sealant tape); apply moderate tightening torque; ensure wiring harness is not pinched or exposed to water ingress.
