IV. Fault Symptoms

Turn signal fails to flash (stays constantly on / fails to light up); Hazard lights show no response whatsoever = Flasher unit is defective

Only one side flashes; Flashing frequency is excessively fast = Missing bulb/circuit (open circuit); or internal driver circuit within the flasher unit is damaged

This unit is a specialized electronically controlled flasher; it is extremely difficult to substitute it by rewiring a standard 3-pin truck flasher unit.
