Name:0193-0468 Cummins Coolant Level & Temperature Sensor

Product Description

0193-0468 Cummins Coolant Level & Temperature 2-in-1 Sensor; primarily used for cooling system monitoring in heavy-duty engines.

I. Core Basic Information

Part Number: 0193-0468 (01930468)

Brand: Cummins

Type: Capacitive Level + NTC Temperature Combination Sensor

Function:

Monitors coolant level; triggers an alarm when the level is too low.

Simultaneously measures coolant temperature, providing a temperature signal to the ECU.

II. Key Specifications and Parameters

Electrical: 4-pin waterproof connector

Thread Specification: 3/4"-16 UNF (American Fine Thread)

NTC Temperature Characteristics: Standard Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) Thermistor

Operating Temperature: -40°C to +125°C

Material: High-temperature resistant engineering plastic + Stainless steel probe

Replacement Models: 4383933, A055G562, C38D5

III. Main Compatible Engines

K19, KTA19, K38, KTA38, K50, KTA50 Series

Widely used in high-power equipment across mining, power generation, marine, and construction machinery sectors.

IV. Main Compatible Equipment

Generator Sets (e.g., KTA50-G)

Mining Trucks, Heavy Construction Machinery

Marine Main Engines, Industrial Power Units

VI. Common Faults and Replacement Guidelines

Fault Symptoms:

Coolant level is normal, yet an alarm is triggered (sensor short circuit / false alarm).

Coolant level is too low, yet no alarm is triggered (sensor open circuit / failure).

Abnormal water temperature display (damaged NTC resistor).

Replacement Guidelines:

Perform the procedure only after the engine has cooled down to prevent burns and coolant leakage.

Disconnect the connector, unscrew the old sensor, and clean the mounting hole.

Install a new O-ring and tighten the sensor to the specified torque (approx. 30–40 N·m).

After installation, perform a test run to verify the coolant level alarm and temperature display functions.
