3. Function 

The key's low current controls the large current pull-in of the starter, protecting the ignition switch from ablation. 

When the engine is started, the main circuit of the motor is instantly connected, and the power is cut off after the engine is started. 

Comes with overload current limiter to prevent motor card from burning the wire harness due to high current

4. Common faults 

No motor sound when turning the key: relay coil is open circuit 

It clicks but the motor does not rotate: the main contact is ablated and the copper pillar is oxidized. 

The relay is always stuck for a long time: the motor keeps turning and burning the starter
