IV. Core Functions


Pre-heat Delay: In low-temperature environments, controls the timed operation of the glow plugs to enhance cold-start performance

Speed-Sensing Safety Lockout: Disengages the pre-heat circuit only after the engine has started and the alternator has established a sufficient rotational speed; Prevents accidental re-cranking of the starter motor after the engine has shut down, thereby protecting the starter motor and flywheel ring gear from burnout

Overload Protection: Locks out the starter circuit in the event of low battery voltage or a wiring short circuit


V. Symptoms of Malfunction Turning the key results in no start, and the glow plug indicator remains continuously illuminated: Internal timing mechanism of the relay is defective.

Glow plugs preheat successfully, but the starter motor remains unresponsive: Engine speed detection circuit has failed.

Starter motor runs continuously without disengaging, leading to gear grinding and motor burnout: Internal electrical contacts have fused together.
