IV. Symptoms of Failure

Complete loss of power to the vehicle; instrument panel does not light up; unable to start.

No response whatsoever when attempting to start (distinct from the "clicking" sound associated with 544-series failures).

Main binding posts show signs of ablation (burning), overheating, or arcing. Key switch prone to burning out (no protection in the main circuit).
