III. Functional Description (Key to Cold Starting)

Preheat Delay: Upon ignition (key-on), the glow plugs heat for 5–15 seconds (adjustable) to facilitate cold starting.

Start Interlock: Once the delay period concludes, the starter motor is enabled to operate, preventing the glow plugs from overheating due to "dry burning."

Overtime Protection: Automatically cuts off power if continuous current flow exceeds 20 seconds, thereby protecting both the glow plugs and the electrical wiring.

Status Indication: Equipped with an LED indicator light; illuminates during the preheating phase and turns off once the cycle is complete.

IV. Symptoms of Malfunction

Difficulty cold-starting the engine; emission of white smoke (indicating preheating system failure)

Preheat indicator light remains constantly on (does not turn off) or fails to light up at all

Burnout of glow plugs or scorching/corrosion of electrical wiring

No response when attempting to start the engine (indicating the preheat delay period has not yet concluded)
