III. Functional Description (The Core of the Wiper System)

Intermittent Control: Provides an adjustable intermittent delay of 3 to 10 seconds, suitable for light rain or foggy conditions.

Speed Switching: Receives switch signals to toggle between Low Speed (approx. 45 cycles/min) and High Speed (approx. 65 cycles/min). 

Washer-Wiper Linkage: When the washer button is pressed, the wiper automatically activates 3 to 5 times before returning to its home position. 

Power-Off Protection: When the ignition key is turned off, the wiper automatically returns to its bottom (home) position.

IV. Symptoms of Failure (Common Wear Part)

Intermittent mode does not work, or the intervals are erratic

Only High Speed mode works; Low Speed mode has failed

Wiper does not activate when the washer is used

Wiper fails to return to the home position after being turned off
