Hot isostatic pressing test of K4169 alloy large-scale thin-walled castings

Taking the simulated specimen of K4169 alloy casing as the carrier, the experiments on the looseness of the HIP closed casting and the effect of HIP on the structure and properties of the casting were carried out. The test results show that hot isostatic pressing can effectively close the internal looseness of castings, but it has no closing effect on open defects such as cracks; hot isostatic pressing can effectively eliminate the Laves phase of K4169 alloy castings, reduce segregation, and uniform the internal structure of the castings; Hot isostatic pressing has little effect on the grain size and conventional mechanical properties of castings
