Process optimization of high manganese steel casting

Aiming at the problems of easy fracture, low life, serious deformation, and bolt breakage of the liner of the self-grinding machine liner during service, the effect of water toughening treatment and precipitation strengthening heat treatment on the mechanical properties of ultra-high manganese steel was studied. law. The results show that on the basis of improved composition, a suitable water toughening treatment process can eliminate continuous carbides at grain boundaries and control the number and shape of carbides, which is the basic premise for ultra-high manganese steel to obtain high toughness and fracture resistance; on this basis , The optimized precipitation strengthening process can further improve the material's impact toughness, tensile strength, yield strength and the initial hardness of the matrix. In this paper, combined with the evolution of the material structure, the mechanism of the above process on performance and the practical significance of performance improvement on service are discussed.
