Simple Troubleshooting Steps:
Power Supply Check: Measure the voltage at the connector to verify that the 24 V supply is normal. Current: Measure by connecting a multimeter in series; under no-load conditions, the current is approximately 4 mA. Once pressure is applied, the current increases linearly with the pressure up to 20 mA.
Resistance: Measure the internal resistance of the sensor; if the reading is infinite or 0 Ω, the sensor is defective.
V. Replacement and Installation Guidelines
Replacement Models: Any sensor of the same specifications (4–20 mA output), matching measurement range, and compatible interface type is suitable for use as a replacement.
Installation:
Seal the threaded connection using PTFE tape or a copper washer; apply a tightening torque of 25–35 N·m.
